Who is "The Geni Team"?

If you'll look at the Revisions tab, you'll see that someone identified as The Geni Team copied and pasted the entire text of the Find-A-Grave page for this profile to the About Me. Since I had already provided a link to the Find-A-Grave page, this seems unnecessary - to say nothing of being a copyright violation. It seems odd to me that anyone officially associated with Geni would do something against the TOUs, so I'm wondering who this person is, and how best to help them understand what we're supposed to do and not supposed to do?

The Geni Team is customer support at Geni.

This is a classical "who to blame" problem.
They get "blamed" in automatic revisions and revisions that was done before Geni started to record revisions per user and revisions done by the system like the connections made during a GEDCOM import.
For this specific profile you will see a profile merge with the same time-stamp.
When two profiles get merged the About Me's of those two profiles get merged as well, creating a revision and after several reactions from users who disliked that they got blamed for an automatic revision Geni decided that those revisions should be tagged to The Geni Team

Oh, I see. So the information that was copied from Find A Grave was in another copy of the profile, and when the two profiles were merged, both sets of About Me info were retained. And it was labeled as having been done by Geni Team.

I get it. And it's not a bad thing - much better than having one set of About Me info 'lost' in a merge.
