I noticed that the info has changed on this site regarding Capt John, Capt of the ship Abraham. The original path has him on Chippokes Creek in James City County,Va
Born in England in 1610 and died in Martins Brandon,Va in 1679 at age 79.
I don't know who the John Barker is listed above born in 1630 in Ma and died at the age of 22 in1652.
Where did this info come from
Captain John of Va was my 8th Great Grandfather

It looks as if this were a mismerge. The data for the information on the profile is at the very bottom of the About section, while the data for the profile that you are describing (and which appears more suited toward the relationships surrounding this profile) is described at length ahead of that. I'll probably address this in the morning (Belarus time) if the curator of record hasn't by then. (Thankfully, the About information exists for this one, making the task fairly straight forward... many thanks to those who put the information there.)

Thanks Ben! Yes, I believe the lower info to be correct. My son and I had it all up in 2007 and had gone thru Sir Robert in England (Capt John's Father)on back to the 1200's but than info seems to have been altered. Guess I should have written it all down but I didn't.How are you connected?
