Uchtred "the Bold", it shows he is my 27th Great Grandfather on Geni.com.
I've done a little research on him. by looking at his palace, I would have to say he must have had alot of power, and making sure what was his was safe.

Yes, he was in a very strategic position, wasn't he? He also seems to have traded-up! his wives 3 times. I think the next person to be as powerful as him in that area is Siward.
