Peter I am eally so glad I found somebody working in Bloemfontein Archives because sending them a request for a lookup seems never to be answered any more. They use to be quick and punctual, but now no luck.
I will send the list to you June and you can add it.

June, I have the set of SAG & SAF registers and occasionally visit GISA and Cape Town Archives

Have access to the LDS Members only website. Not always absolutely accurate but it may lead you in the right direction.

Always willing to help with Steyn questions. Have SAG 12, Die families van ou Swellendam deel 1 Steyn, Die Nasate van AFW STEYN and some other Steyn stuff

Regarding Steyns - the Old SA Families book has a lot of errors about the family tree, beginning at the 'top'...
