Does anyone know who James Wheeler's parents were?

Thanks for your reply. You must have another James Wheeler. The above birth and death dates are accurate. My great-great grandfather James Wheeler is buried in Rivercliff Cemetery in Mt. Gilead, Ohio along with his second wife Caroline Condit Wheeler and several of their children. I have his parents as Thomas Wheeler, born March 25, 1779 and died July 18, 1828. His mother was Abigall Newberry, born in 1776 and died September 24, 1821 when their twin girls, Maria and Minerva, were only three years old. They are both buried in Delaware, Ohio. I'm not sure of the name of the cemetery, but I think it is Berkshire. I have not been able to go any further back in his ancestry so would welcome any help with that.

You can just Google his name, birth and death dates. Amazing letters that he wrote to his superiors will come up about living with, and relocating with the Wyandotts when they were moved to Kansas from Sandusky Co. Ohio. They are on the Wyandott web site and well worth reading.

This is Roberta Bradford sending this information. I am Bill's wife, and James Wheeler is my great-great grandfather on my father's side. James' also had a sister named Lucy Wheeler Page who had a daughter named Myrtle, (her nickname], Page Fillmore. Myrtle along with her husband Charles Fillmore founded the Unity Church. That movement is present in many countries, and its' history is very interesting also.

When I originally searched for him, I searched just as you specified. The two links that I posted on 7/9/2013 were the only search results that I got that seemed relevant.

For the record, I found some letters about a James Wheeler writing to superiors about living among the Wyandot Indians and helping them relocate...but according to what I saw, the author was identified as "my" Rev. James, and not your James.

If I didn't know better, I'd think that people were conspiring to confuse researchers of the two Jameses.

After collaborating with Timothy Foor recently, he brought it to my attention that you're referring to Reverend James Wheeler. His parents are attached to him.

Those of you following this thread might be interested in knowing that I restored most of Pagetown Cemetery last year and will be continuing to work on it this year. Sharing a news article on the restoration. https://abc6onyourside.com/features/slice-of-life/slice-of-life-man...
