Jennifer, I find you amazing and I am greatful for all the work and research you do. Thank you. My computer is in down mode and my phone is uncontrollable. I apologize now for any crazy errors that appear out of nowhere. I just got your request to open up my site. I thought I had so you could do that, but quess I still am not sure what I am doing. I will try and have my daughter look at it when she comes down for guard weekend. My kids are computer handy but me that is another story. Please keep up the good work and I will go my best to set up connection. It is exciting to get the chance to share info with you. Jennifer....there was another error posted on a site that had Rebecca married to her father-in-law Joseph Emerson Griffin and her actual husband Joseph Andrew Griffin listed as her son. I contacted the person. But she didn't think it was her error but would check into it. I have not been able to check back to see if a correction was made or not. I hope to get back up and going. I see I have some request for mergers. But as I said before, my phone won't help me out. I really feel bad that I have not been able to keep a good connection to be able to follow through.please don't give up on me.

Hi LaNeda! Thanks for all the sweet things you said! Don't worry about any mistakes, you should see some of the doozies I've made while I was trying to teach myself this stuff. Some wonderful Geni folks helped me fix things, and I'll always be grateful to them. Such a great group of people here!

Yes, I saw that error about Rebecca married to her FIL... it's in several of the Gedcoms out there. How cool that you took the time to contact the gal about it. At least now she knows there's a difference of opinion, whether or not she takes it further. As far as I'm concerned all this stuff we find on the web is just hints and we need to document before we start believing. Sort of like seeing dino footprints might be a clue that there's a dino around, but I'm not going to believe it til I see the whites of his eyes! lol

Listen, don't worry about your connection! I'm not about to give up on your and I'm thrilled to share our info with each other! Thank you so much for agreeing to join family groups, it will make things a lot easier. Everything else, we'll just take one step at a time!

Hey, LaNeda, hope all is well with you and that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was just working on this branch again - got rid of the No Name you were originally concerned about at the top of this discussion. Am adding Rebecca's half-sibs by her dad's first wife, but I see there's one already in the tree that wasn't in your list: Rees Jones Roundy (1882 - 1955).

You had mentioned that there were twelve sibs in this group, but I just counted and your list only has eleven. Does Rees belong in there? If not, I can move him, but I probably shouldn't just cut him loose without knowing where he belongs!

Yes...Rees Jones Roundy does belong in that group of twelve. He is between Joanna and Annis. I though I missed one, but could not get back in to check. Thank you for correcting.
And my phone...embarassing sometimes, funny sometimes, frustrating other times...I do admit I have had some giggles burst out after rereading some of my messages. My kids get a kick out of some of my replies. My phone is a touch phone and wow we just do not agree sometime lol.. Thanks again.
