Can I ask for managers and curators from this area to help me check the saga data I am adding here? (I know this message may need translating too - and am hoping if that is necessary someone who is bilingual will jump in and help.):
Hallad & his wife had one child:

Are's Landnama book seems to be a generation out in this area as compared to Geni.
The son of "Thorrid & Thorgill' called 'Coll' seems out;
And the father of Thorgil, 'Thorbeorn Loke' is his grandfather on Geni.
Now the sagas are well known to have generations missing, so I don't think the Geni profiles are wrong; I would just like to make sure that all the managers and curators give me their opinion on whether they're happy with where I'm fitting this in on.

If you're interested, please send me a collaboration request for the linked projects - I love people helping with research work.
There's an English translation of Landnåmabok here:
http://www.northvegr.org/sagas%20annd%20epics/miscellaneous/landnam...
I'm sure there are many others.
(Note - the "next page" function on page 2 seems to be broken. I had to manipulate the URL to get to page 3.)
Thanks Harald - that's a great site, and something I'm adding to the project right away.
Bjorn I was wanting you to suggest people who could translate my message above - as the profile managers appear to come from Norway, Sweden and Iceland, and I didn't want to work without them being able to watch and contribute if they wanted to.
I have had some private messages already, telling me that managers are happy with what I'm adding to the About Me's.
I will also invite you guys (and anyone else connected to the area who wants to be involved) to the project,) so you can let me know what you think about the application of the Medieval Scotland & Orkney research to this area on the tree.
