Patrice Wood Scheg - Wood/Dilcher Families of Rochester/Batavia/Bergen NY

Does anyone have information about these related families, particularly, Rose Dilcher Wood and her husband, Jesse Wood. They married in 1896 but lived apart after about 1920. Of their three children (Lewis, Frank and Eva) I am descended from Lewis who was born 10 years before their marriage. I am trying to confirm that Lewis truly is the offspring of Rose and Jesse. Any help would be appreciated!
