Umm, this is my Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather and from what I have it says "Lars Bugge Quisling". I'm not sure whether whoever wrote it (my grandmother's grandmother) put First Middle and Last name or what. More info writen is he was a farmer in Loken, E. Slifve and married Kari Olsdatter and that's all I have......for now.
You are correct, at his bethrotal July 17th 1727, wedding September 29th, his name is written Lars Bugge Qvislin: No 7 from the top on the left side, churchbook for Slidre: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=9381&idx_id=9...
But I can:
Julii d. 17 I Slidre Corpor. Lars Bugge Qvislin og Kari Olsdtr. Røe. Forlov: Paul Jenss. Bugge og Gulbrand Gulbrands. Melby.
The abbrevations are:
d. = den = the
Corpor. = Corporal
Olsdtr. = Olsdatter = Olsdaughter
Forlov. = Forlovere = Witnesses
Jenss. = Jenssen
Gulbrands. = Gulbrandsen
Translated:
July the 17th In Slidre Corporal Lars Bugge Qvislin and Kari Olsdaughter Røe. Witnesses: Paul Jenssen Bugge and Gulbrand Gulbrandsen Melby.
