Hans was my Great, Great Uncle. His name is actually spelt Hans Petter Knudsen and he was born in Oslo,Norway to Hans Jacob Knudsen. One of his brothers, Karl Oluf Knudsen was my Great Grandfather who lived in Arendal, Norway and was a coachmaker. I have a second cousin in Norway and several distant cousins in USA related to Johannes Knudsen who was Hans' Uncle, brother to Hans Jacob Knudsen. I am happy for any distant relatives to contact me through Geni and then directly when we establish relationship. I am in touch with distant relatives in England of Han's wife Harriet also. I thought I was the last male member of our Knudsen family but there are several in USA.

Have been given wrong information. My Hans Petter Knudsen was born in 1859.have his birth date and parents names.Hans Peder Knudsen son of Ole Knudsen was born in Oslo in 1858 and his wife was Harriet.Sorry forr the error.I have asked Geni to close my account.
