Where has Daniel's tree disappeared to?....His father was definately a James Hamilton...I have seen the (reproduced) documents for his birth.Am currently trying to prove a line I have seen elsewhere, giving his mother as Jean Henderson.

Hi, Private User

When I look at the revisions to that profile, it doesn't look like there was ever a father attached; you might want to check with the person who seems to have been doing some work in that area, Private User

(I did see, via a quick search, a James married to a Jean on Geni, but they are about 100 years to old to be this Daniel's parents.)

When I first discovered Daniel's tree his parents were listed as James Hamilton, & Rebeka Stewart...However I found out later, that this particular James Hamilton & his wife Rebeka, were Hamiltons who moved to Ireland, & later to America...found quite a bit of information on them.. (& not connected at all in this line)I did put up a posting at the time about this, as I was unable to remove them from Daniel's tree...The problem is there were quite a number of James Hamiltons born within a few years, & miles of each other, during that time; & I think a likely candidate, who seemed to fit the bill, was put in place..They have both disappeared now though, but a James Hamilton...which one?...is still Daniel's father....On another site I saw his parents as James Hamilton, born in Dalziel Lanarks, 1658, & married to Jean Henderson born 1667...But no documentation for this...

Have fun! I'm not at all knowledgeable ... I just was noticing your comment.

You're welcome.
