Seeking to obtain and share information concerning family of Reuben Beebe (1755-1834). Specifically, Reuben had a son, George (1862-??), to whom I am connected. George had 5 sons--Lloyd, Glenn, Morris, Robert, Carlton. Morris was my grandfather.

Correction to error in my original message--George Beebe (1862-??) was son of Reuben Beebe (1820-1898) who was son of Joseph Beebe (1785-1861) who was son of Reuben Beebe (1755-1834).

Hi, Morris Wilson Beebe, III

It looks to me like your George Beebe 'connects' into the existing "Forest" (aka the Big Tree aka World Tree) at this point -- which looks to have nice details about George's mother's family as well as father's.

With a Pro subscription, you can search for and make these connections on your own; if you choose to stay a Basic (free) member, you can often get help with 'connecting' (merging) in this discussion forum: http://www.geni.com/discussions/99133 (after you read the first page, skip to the end -- you don't need to read everything!)

It looks like you might have good info to add to the existing profiles; in fact, thanks to your details, I was able to connect George's mother's tree with his father's tree! (And there may be a little more to clean up in that area, too!)

Welcome to Geni, morris!

I notice you've added what you described above.

If you want to 'connect' them to the rest of the tree which I identified (previous note), then you'll need to change a few of your profiles to be "Public". If you don't want to "connect", then just leave them as they are.

Just so you know, I (and the rest of the Geni users outside of your "Family Group") can only see the details about Reuben (b. 1755) and his parents.

If you decide to 'connect' to the "Big Tree", it would also be nice if you would capitalize the names appropriately; there is not automatic function to do it for you.
