The olympic torch is passing through swansea on sat 26th may.right next to our home...
approx 20 seconds in is an aerial view of the docks in 1908.now maritime quarter area of swansea .
try and stop it there.....in the dead centre bearing to north west is where we live now 4th house up on the right(row of 8)...top right hand corner is old swansea guildhall and is still standing (it is now called the dylan thomas centre)...this is where Moses jones got married in 1915..at the front of it is a long type hut.that is in the grounds of the police station where charles would have served near the end of his career.(see earlier picture)..it zooms in slightly just after 24 seconds...at 29 seconds is where moses was married...at 2 minutes moses would have frequented victoria park with his wife,as would have aunt lucietta..it was at the rear of his home in st helens avenue. and 46/47 king edwards road.and they would have certainly used the mumbles railway as certain aunt lucietta would have...and they would have all used swansea beach during the hustle and bustle days..at around 3 mins is mumbles where great aunt maria lived...at 3.56 is sketty,which was charles beat..at 4.02 is the duty sketty policeman..although it looks a bit after charles,s time...in the next frame is another policeman at 4.06..??....hope you enjoyed this snapshot.....
