Joseph Armitage born 1795 died about 8 months later. William was born 1797 and Mary was born in 1800. Was there another Joseph born in about 1798. I can find no evidence of his birth. He is my GG Grandfather and I have his birth certificate to state that he died in 1874. But I would like to be certain of his parentage and registry of his birth. Can anyone throw any light on this problem?
