John Wesley Butler & Betsey Parsons

I have been unable to find anything more about John Wesley Butler though from what my distant cousin Mary Louise Butler Edwards had to say he was part of the Butler family that moved to southern Georgia in the mid 1860s due to the cholera epidemic in North Carolina.

I had once had him as a brother of my great-grandfather as a child of Redden Butler & Rebecca Eliza Underwood but discovered my error in checking Census records of Chatham and Moore Counties in the 1860s and 1880s.

Now, Rev. A.H. Butler is an isolated tree with no direct BUTLER connections. There are some Parsons connections but the Butlers now have no outlet.

Can anyone help me?
