I'm sorry for your loss.
The normal procedure for this is to choose "Report" from the Actions pull-down menu on her profile, and choose Deceased as the reason. Customer Service will deal with the report, but in the meantime our system will skip reported-deceased profiles when sending out birthday and anniversary reminders.
Since you gave me enough information to do so, I went ahead and filed the report for you.
