Excerpt:
"For more than 300 years, the Sauzas who are also known as the Sausas, the Souzas, the Zausas and the Zauzas have proven that healthy and friendly family relationships regardless of generations gap are crucial factors for constant social development. We are continuing these good cultures and traditions of our ancestors. We are always in influx of having better and better relationships each day among our kin and the rest of humanity. Undeniably, we are the products of our ancestors' behaviors! "

"PREVIEW: On 25 December 1850, Don Santiago Sauza, the Grand Patriarch of the Sauza Clan in the Republic of the Philippines coined the term las familias unidas or The United Family in English or Ang Mga Nagkakaisang Pamilya in Filipino, the annual reunion of the clan because he believed regardless of generations in our bloodlines, each of the family should be united. From then on, it was the annual them of the Sauza clan.

The first las familias unidas was held at the house of Don Santiago Sauza and his wife Doña Ysabel Berenguer de Marquina-Sauza y Sumulong at their house at Barrio Santo Niño, pueblo de Mariquina (presently, Marikina City), Republic of the Philippines. The very lot where the first las familias unidas took place is still owned by the their descendants, the heirs of Doña Martha Sauza-Cruz y Sumulong, the daughter of Don Juan Sauza y Tuazon, the son of Don Miguel Sauza y Berenguer de Marquina, the 7th son of Don Santiago Sauza and of Doña Ysabel Berenguer de Marquina-Sauza y Sumulong."

Hi

regarding our ascendants, this info came from Mr. Pier Salamat who came to Casa de Segunda last year. He was in search for the descendants of Don Juan Solis and Irene delos Santos. luckily, I was there when he went to Casa de Segunda. I asked him if he could provide me any documents that could prove that we are the descendants of the Sumulong and Sauzas but he said they had a facsimile of the records which got lost . but still i gave him the infos about the Solis of lipa and the present list of descendants of this clan. I am still doubtful of his accounts because some of his stories regarding the family didn't match with the timeline when Don Celestino Solis lived....
