Moving the discussion out of a private messaging system, this will be the place to discuss who is working on what when it comes to the Titanic project.

I am continuing to add Curator notes and check profiles are in the right projects - also marking children, Casualty and Survivor.

The C or S added to the project pages is also a way for me to keep track of profiles I have reviewed:) so perhaps we need to leave that task for me to do?

Together with Jennie I am working on the third class with a special Link-profile to see the data before we add them to the passengers-lists and Carina is working on the French passengers (don't know wich class...). Wouter did already a job on the Belgian passengers of all classes (I think). Annemarie is supervisor of the passengers-lists and Terry, are you the one who can supervise the crew's list's? Or are they relatively short?

To be read also by:

If you need a smarter and faster checklist for the people aboard this site is as a database far better constructed than the Encyclopedia sources. Please try it also on a slower computer and give some feedback, then we can decide to promote this one first. You can see differences between the origin of the passengers and crew rather fast and you don't need to know French to understand it.

Great site but like you said you will need to speak/read French
Good to get the dates, but http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/ has more passenger biographies

sorry, I lthink you DON't need French to consult the database, am I wrong?

As long as not all the 2250 profiles are in Geni I myself am not interested in completing stories, but that's my personal approach of this job. After all I stay an editor and publisher and will allways aware ot others copyrights etc. For me: first things first and then we have a lot of 'stock-material' to do every approach that fits in ones interests of personal knowledge. But ofcourse to stay enthousiastic everyone chooses his/her own focus, that's normal behaviour and on the internet even common sense. My focus f.i. is developing a worksheet for doing projects of this size like big international world-war battles [examples: the Japanese -the battle in the Javasee- or the constructing of the Birma railway]. But first the TITANIC ! And don't forget my most important focus: stay enthousiastic and help each other to be succesful together to reach a summet on 15 april next !
love, jMu.
