I don't know if you realize this, but a primer has a specific meaning in DNA jargon. Might confuse people. I know I was.

Awesome Project! Thanks so much for your excellent clarification of this complicated issue.

Victar, we can talk to Geni about changing the name if you feel strongly about it. When the name was suggested to me in the curator group I thought it was a wonderful play on words. I'm still chuckling about it ;)

Haha, that's fine. Just so you're aware. I'm clinical (and boring) when it comes to project names ;-).

So am I, Victar (although I don't share your taste for Latin names ;)) I always look to our buddy Erica when I need marketing brilliance.

Haha, I did away with my Latin names. It was a misguided (dumb) idea.

I enjoyed them, Victar. It gave me a chance to show off my knowledge of Latin by complaining about them ;)

But, I think we still have Imperium Romanum and Imperium Romanum Sacrum. Maybe we'll have an opportunity to change those, maybe just add some English to the title.

BTW I read the Wiki page on "DNA Primer" and the glossary link for "DNA for genealogy.". What one had to do with the other - I really don't want to know. But DNA Primer was not on the glossary.

- I took art, not science, in high school Erica. :)
