I am so spoilt having seen it so many times both from the Zim and Zambian side. I think it is much better from the Zambian side. Last year we visited it during night time where I saw my first lunar rainbow at full moon. Helping the children to finish their house, so this time I will skip it - going back to SA on Friday and driving to Cape Town from OR Tambo. Some unfinished business at GISA and Cape Town Archives!
Thanks for the link June, it's a great site. We spent three of the greatest years of our lives at the Falls and have such good memories. Have seen the circular lunar rainbow many times. Bought an old super 8 cine camera from one of the old-timers before we left in '82 and it still had a roll of undeveloped film in recording a bit of the floods of '57/58 which caused such havoc for the builders of Kariba. Never really appreciated where we had lived until we left.
