Both Mary Taber (Cooke) and Mary Taber (Thompson) had daughters named Sarah (Mary Cooke's b. 1671; Mary Thompson's b. 1674).

These seem to have been mis-merged -- and assigned wrong parents. After cleaning, they should be made MP's to prevent a re-occurrence.

In addition, the children of Capt. Thomas Taber need a bit of re-connecting to the correct mothers.

Perhaps Erica Howton can help prevent re-occurrences.

I just went through the cousins Bethia Tabors! These errors need research, documentation, analysis & logic - some aren't recent mismerges, but 19th century ones.

Is there an on-line source or two I could use to help out?

Sure! You actually need to check several on line compilers: Mayflower lines, Cooke descendents lines, and Taber lines, and ensure they use at minimum the standard Massachusetts resources: Torrey for marriages, Savage for families, and town VRs. You can google book into Torrey pretty easily.

I found these sites useful for the Mary Taber line:
