Moving over the email exchange I have been having with the Romulo Clan to this fora so that others may share the information. Considering the historical significance of the family, our prime objective is to firmly establish "clean" genealogies for historical figures and to ensure accuracy by managing duplicates, minimizing vandalism, among others, within the Geni platform -- to benefit family members and historical researchers. We also strongly advocate that profiles of living family members should remain private. Liana Elena Romulo, Johanna Patricia Ruiz Torres, Private User

Hi Johanna Patricia Ruiz Torres. I have been trying to validate the ancestry of Charles Henry P. Kipping. I see that you created the following profiles:

- Mary Sarah Porter
- Charles Kettle Kipping
- William Kipping
- Caroline Kettle

Could you share your sources please? Thanks a bunch!

hi Private User, Jerome Patrick Tirona Bautista. Could you help clarify how Jose Rizal and Leonor Rivera are related? Accounts vary so I was hoping the Rizal Family can help. Thanks!

Hi Private User, yes, I've done a lot of research last month on Charles Henry P. Kipping and found several profiles of him included in family trees on ancestry.com. The tree begins in 1570 with Thomas Kipping, it extends 15 generations back, quite extensive, if I may say, I just haven't had the chance to input every detail here. I've managed to merge the tree I created at ancestry.com with several trees the Kipping relatives have made. There are around 8 trees being managed by different relatives from different branches from different continents.

I saw the volumes of data on ancestry.com; but could not recreate the primary sources. Looking at the 1861-1871-1891-1911 census records, I could see at least three men named "Henry Kipping" who were born around 1860 in various districts within Kent. The difficult thing about crowd-sourced genealogical data is we would not know the manner those people got their info -- so primary data is always good to have. :D

If you could send me the link of the source material that substantiates the names of the parents of Charles Kettle Kipping and the maiden name of his wife Mary Sarah Porter, I can help upload the documentation and validate the info, generation by generation.

Hi Johanna Patricia Ruiz Torres -- no need to send me the primary data. I think I found a way to validate. :)

That's great!=) I'm sure your access to records at ancestry.com will give you a lot of facts. The 210 acres of land in the document you posted, what was Charles Kipping doing, was he a hog grower? Couldn't decipher it.

Hi Johanna Patricia Ruiz Torres. Entered Charles Henry's ancestors up to the 1500s -- basic users can only enter up to their 3x GGparents, I think. Next steps would be to enter the siblings of each ancestor. :)

On the 210 acres: he was labelled "head of growers" with 210 acres. The document did not say what they grew unfortunately. He had servants in the household, which meant, he had means. :)

Oh, "head" grower, now I get it. I wonder what happened to the 210acres...=)

The Brits are awesome in recording stuff like that. I am sure land records in Kent can be accessed through their national archives. :)

I know, I can't believe they have a lot of info online including death, travels, etc...which makes it a lot easier to get facts. I hope we have this already in the Philippines.
