Richard I resolved the data for the line, double checking it against DAR records (and adding profiles to that project http://www.geni.com/projects/Daughters-of-the-American-Revolution)
I see the proper birthplace I believe? Jerg Bernhardt Mann
Or is there a different profile showing England?
Hi Erica. I see we are 15th cousins. Adam Mann is my fourth great grandfather. Adam Mann's great grandfather, Jerg Barhardt Mohn (Mann) was born in Huffendardt, Baden-Wertenburg, Germany. I am now 80, and my brother and I have been working on the family tree since 1956, and we have multiple pages of research, both in file cabinets, and in my Family Tree Maker data base, which I am willing to share. I am also writing a book for my children and grandchildren. I don't know if we should add files here, or should you contact me by email, which is: dmannmail@aim.com. I go by "Dick," BTW.
@ Richard Mann
Hello. I'm unsure if this is the correct Mann family line since I've not been able to go far enough back to find names in common. My father's name is James H. and was born in Tenn. 1931 - his father's name was Monnie, he died in 1981. I've sent an email to my mother and asked her to send all the names (and correct spellings) from the family bible. It'll take her awhile so in the meantime I thought I'd put a few irons in the fire and see what brand I came out with .. ;) Thank you in advance for any information you can supply.
