How do I remove someone from my Basic Tree ?

I was adding a number of descendants into my very basic tree today and somehow inadvertantly managed to place my c 1530 - 1610 x 9th and 10th grandparents in between my great grandfather and my grear great grandfather. I was able to place them and his wives in their correct place (top of the tree) but I am stuck with the duplicates in the wrong place. I tried to move them but I am told I need to subscribe to an upgrade. I am unsure whether I wish to do that yet as I have a very basic tree.

I cannot delete them from my tree being displayed. What do I
do?
