Thomas was Josiah's son. Born in 1812, he was married twice. He fathered many children, one of whom was my great great grandfather. I have the newspaper article of how and when Thomas Died and he is buried in Topsfield, Maine. He was NOT born in Robbinston, he was born on Bailey Hill in Topsfield. His last wife was Philinda Ann Lakin, "Annie" as everyone called her. She remarried an Alfred Worster after Thomas' death, that's why my great grandfather never uttered her name again as long as he was living. I have Thomas' violin. It was handed down to his son(my great grandfather Jesse Franklin) who played it, then to his son(my grandfather-Samuel Bailey) who went to the conservatory and then to my father(Jack Bailey) who went to the conservatory and then to me, I have been playing it since the age of 5.
