I'm going to need help with this project. Someone(s) that know or can research the various military units composed of German and German-Americans.

Also, the various military officers of German extraction. This will definitely take a little longer...

Two Stamplfer's in my tree...I will add them to the project.

Scores of individual regiments, such as the 9th Ohio, 74th Pennsylvania, 32nd Indiana (1st German), and the 9th Wisconsin Infantry, consisted entirely of German Americans.

We're going to need help with these German unit projects.
