Who was his father?

Was his father "Klonimus Kalman Babad" (Rabbi Kalonimus Kalman Babad, Ha'Ashkenazi), as his tree suggests? Or, was the father "Avraham Yehoshua Heshel", as the title suggests?

Shulem - there is clearly some confusion there. At the moment his grandfather Unknown Profile has the same title as he has.

There are some issues with dates too. He is currently shown living to 1110 (though with conflicting data).

I don't know the paternal line of Tzvi Hersch. I had found information at this site http://akevoth.org/family_tree/family_tree.htm but I can't attest to it's reliability.

It's pretty clear that Unknown Profile is NOT the "Issur V'Heter" - so I have changed his title to match.

It his grandson http://www.geni.com/people/Rabbi-Yona-Kalman-Babad-Ha-Ashkenazi-Iss... who wrote "Issur V'Heter" - that being the profile on which this discussion started.
