My grand father had the same first name and name that you.
He was borned in kopaszewo, poland in 1890 and died in France 1971.
He came from Poland after the fist world war. But the family's story told that he should have gone to Aiustralia or USA if he had not be father in France from Marianne Liczbanska née a Lwowek a girl Jeanne borned in Dunkerque.
We know tha my grand father had brother who immigrated to Australia and USA (near Chicago).
The only news we have had was some letters which were sent by a aunt in law, wife of Jacky Cieslak, who lived in Clamecy five years ago.
