The program is "Rivers, Landing Places and Home Lots: Genealogy and Geography" and it begins at 2:00 pm. Two genealogists will examine selected items from Taunton's earliest documents, often called the Proprietors' Records. The presenters will show how an examination of maps of the early settlement in conjunction with records from the first town clerk, the Leonard Ironworks and other contemporary sources can suggest details about the everyday life of Taunton's first citizens.

I wish I could attend! Will you be there?

Hi Hatte and Happy New Year,

Yes, I will be there. I'll plan to give you a report afterwards. I visited OCHS recently to browse their library. There is a handwritten genealogy of Richard Williams by Josiah Drummond of Maine which contains 5 generations of descendants.

Regards,
Charlie

Happy New Year Charlie. My mother sends her regards to. She'll be 85 next week! She's busy writing lots of books about her family and her life and sending me great information to add to profiles.

Elwin / Charlie - if there is anything you can report on or attach as a document to the project, that would be great.
