Where did Russell Jewell end up

Parents William & Fanny Annie Jewell; Born 1874, Russell was living with family at 15 All St Terrace, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England as @ the 1881 England/Wales Census, still living at home in 1891 according to Census aged 17, the 1901 Census had Russell aged 27 located at registration district: Lambeth, Sub District: Kensington First, London Middlesex. He seems to have disappeared between 1901 and 1911 as he is not recorded on the 1911 Census and I could not locate a death record via free BDM between 1901 - 1911 I found a Russell Jewell aged 51 who died in Brentwood Middlesex in 1925 the date timeline matches, also last know location was Middlesex. Question is where was Russell between 1901 - 1925 maybe soldering, institutionalized, traveling?
