if my Galician ancestors who eventually moved to Vienna in the early 1900's are not in the book would this project be of any interest to me

Mostly it deals with the earlier families who became more established, some even received aristocratic titles. So the later Galician arrivals are not included, for the most part, unless they were connected by marriage.

Dear Randy,
I got an email instigated by you about this project. I'm a Geni member. What am I supposed to do now? I signed up as a "follower". I don't see a "join" option.

Private User First, you should go to your inbox and requests and accept my family group request so we can collaborate better. Second, I will add a link to the Khuners on the project page so you can access the tree from there. Gaugusch has a chapter on them in his new book.

Dear Randy,
Okay, I've done step 1. so fire away with your next links/pages I'm supposed to link up with. Is Gaugusch's book published? How do I buy it?

Has this book also been published in English?

Only German, but it is not hard to figure out since the format is very standard.

I noticed that the Schueller family from Butschowitz (Bucovice) Moravia is included!

We'll have to wait for Volume 2 (expected 2013) for the rest of the alphabet (after A-K).
