Showing the correct family connection/{Parent's}

I found Austin Washington's marriage record, Green Co. Tenn 1830, what get's me is the fact he's only 16 at the time and his family {Parent's} are not mentioned. James Borden/Burden and family are living in Clinton Co, Liberty Twp, 1830, along with Edward,Jacob,William, his brother's, according to Federal Censes Record's of Liberty Twp, Clinton Co. Oh. Same thing 1820. I've seen Cherokee mentioned in this family also, make's one wonder huh.

Can anyone on Geni who connect's here, prove this relationship.? According to info I've found through a lot of research, Austin was born SC, and father was a James Burden, but this James is the son of, Pricilla Timber's and a Thomas Borden/Burden from early VA/NC. Please except my sincere apology for questioning this data that has been posted. .

BURDEN/ BURDINE FAMILY

1. Priscilla Timbers, born 19 March 1757, a "mollato girl," was the daughter of Sarah Timbers of Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia [Overwharton Parish Register, 1724-1774, 189]. On 3 July 1805 a Mrs. Mary McCalanahan appeared in Greenville County, South Carolina court and testified that Sarah Timbers and her daughter Priscilla had lived with her in Virginia and that Priscilla was the mother of David, Thomas, Lewis, James, John, Patsy, and Charlotte Burden/ Burdin [DB R:162]. Priscilla was the mother of

i. David, counted as a "free colored" head of a Pendleton District, South Carolina household with a slave in 1820.

ii. Thomas.

iii. Lewis. His biography was published in Randolph County, Indiana, in 1882 [Tucker, History of Randolph County].

iv. James.

v. John, born 1785-1804, head of a Wayne Township, Wayne County, Indiana household of 11 "free colored" in 1840.

vi. Patsy.

vii. Charlotte.
