I have been merging trees in this area, however I beleive there is a confusion with the generations here. Although this is distantly related to my family I haven't enough knowledge of this particular branch to make informed changes so would appreciate your help. (I'm hoping this has tagged the managers of Henry Corneil Shier).

If you check the dates I think you'll see what I mean.

Can you please help?

Yes, I see what you mean. Is it possible that a bad merge has left Henry Corneil Shier with incorrect dates for birth and death?

Other than that, I've done a lot of clean-up in this part of the tree today. Check it out.

I was hoping this message would be tagged to the managers however I don't think they were tagged so I've sent them individual messages to try to get them involved.
I spotted this discrepancy as a result of adding a descendant report a new cousin gave me. THis is my distant family.
