Merging Issue: Please help?

A while ago I have recieved a request to merge a profile (my grandmother's second husband).

I have grown up with him, knowing him as my own grandfather (though he wasn't, my biological grandfather died when he was at the young age of 33).

So after the merge happened, I noticed that my grandmother's profile went from living to deceased. And that t my grandmother, and her second husband, along with his parents and so on were all made for public viewing!!!

I went to check my grandmother's profile and the person I merged with is also the manager of my grandmother's profile, and I cannot remove him, but apparently he can make these changes which I do not like!

How can someone change my private profiles? And change them to public? I am not liking this at all, and is there some way I can change it?

Another thing is is that he is not included in my family tree and I cannot see his family members (nor his full name in the tree, I cannot edit them, they're private) nor edit their profiles, but he can edit my grandmother's profile, whom isn't blood related to him.

But mine was set to private, but apparently he can change my things. Very odd!!!!

I haven't encountered a similar situation so am not sure the best procedure to solve it.
