You'd be surprised at how many people love the Sound of Music from their childhood.
Even my daughter still does, despite having to listen to my lectures about "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria' being not the only solution for women who speak their minds :-)

LOL Jennie - i saw that too. It was solving the problem of 'her' by marrying her off that i was referring to, but maybe there was a problem that needed to be solved without making her everybody else's problem. Still, 10 children is enough to give anyone mood swings :-)

what you call 'mood swings' is in Dutch: 'de overgang' with temperature-changes that has nothing to do with our climate in europe near the North Sea, but only with my own termostatus, you know, ladies of age?

If I had married Von Trapp i had no moodswings at all....
butI prefer the Von Trapp from the musical (Christopher Plummer) still looking good and a good sense of humor and charme...

I've added links for the real family members and listed all the actors.
There is quite a bit of info on the actors available in the public domain but as they are all still alive Geni profiles will be private so i don't see much point making them.

...aren't they famous enough in real life to get a MP-sticker?
