I think it is DISGUSTING that you have blocked non-paid Geni users from accessing information WHEN I GO TO SEARCH ENGINES AND HAVE NO PROBLEM ACCESSING THE INFORMATION.
You have obviously made the information available on search engines for your own self-aggrandizement and bringing in new customers for money, yet those who have been with Geni for years are blocked from searching within the site to further their trees, and we are unable to add to our ancestries.
I do hope Geni.com goes broke for your thieving ways. I have the tree of my biological family hereon, as well as my adoptive family. Years of research has brought me to where I am, both families back to Europe, pre- Revolutionary War days. My husband and I are both disabled and at present don't have our utilities payed up to date. I do not allow auto-withdrawals from my checking accounts. Your dishonesty shall be your undoing. You should be honoring your original clients and making the new clients pay for different services. Those of us who have been working for years on irreplaceable trees should NOT be losing all our irreplaceable work.
If you don't want US to access the information on Geni without a paid account, TAKE IT OFF THE F'ING SEARCH ENGINES FOR PETE'S SAKE! So we can access all the information by going OFF Geni. Jerks.
Private User, how about approaching Geni and asking for a concession based on the weight of your past contributions to the tree?

Could one of you reply about the feasibility of this?
