Any sources for these parents?

I have recorded that the parents of this Unknown wife of Aonghas 'mór' mac Domhnaill, Lord of Islay are also unknown. I suspect she has become linked to these parents by merging. Should we cut her off?

Check the Revision History and data conflicts first. Try searching for some of those name to find if there is any internet sites that claim they have a name on this woman or to confirm a bad merge.

I hadn't looked carefully and it seems the parents have been there all along but she is "unknown"

I have added several such unknown mothers, - where the sources only tells that she was the "daughter of ..." or even simpler: "a woman from ...".
The last type is worse because some people want to delete "unknowns" and not accepting that unknown also is a genealogical fact and even if we don't have a name there could be other facts attached to the profile, like where she was from. To prevent them from being deleted I had to add that fact to the name fields.

Which in you case might be an idea for you to rename her to "Unknown daughter of Colin "Mór" Campbell,"

My Problem is that according to Medlands Unknown wife of Aonghas 'mór' mac Domhnaill, Lord of Islay with unknown parents. I'm fine with putting unknown and as you say if it's daughter of then that gives some placement for her however if someone has a reference connecting this unknown wife to the said parents then it would be nice to have it. As there are a number of managers I thought one may have had the reference/source and so put out a general discussion to try to find it.

Donald had apparently arranged for his son and heir, Angus Mor MacDonald, to marry a daughter of Sir Colin Campbell (Cailein Mor) of Lochawe. Angus Mor's Campbell lady bore him three sons, Alasdair Og, Angus Og and John.

The data conflicts you resolved DID contain a first name too. Did you write it down to check if there are any sources supporting it?

Although I didn't go into checking for sources Bjorn I believe it was Colin (or similar) so the father's name and not a name I would consider researching.
