I am the great granddaughter of Lewis and Charlotte Burrows. They helped raise me and my brother .

Lewis lied about his age to join the war in WWI it was later found out and he was sent home. He later tried to enlist during WW2 but was rejected based on his age. His son Don did enlist and served in the south pacific. Lewis did not die in San Luis he had been in the Sepulveda VA hospital for sometime cause of Alzheimer's.

His wife was also much younger than him 8 or 12 years difference. I will see if I can find the exact age difference when I have some free time.

Valerie,
Please contact me at cl_burrows@yahoo.com.
Lewis' nephew, Dr. Ronald Gene Burrows was my father-in-law (I'm married to his only son). He also died from complications with Alzheimer's.

Due to the time the family spent in India, we find many gaps in the connections with the Burrows side of the family and would love to receive your assistance and connect with that side of the family!
