There is a village 'SIKRORI' in Ajitmal Distt. U.P. It is about 40 KM from the national Highway. Word Sikroria originated from here. Generations back , there was a class conflict between Kyasthas ( Sikrorias) and Bhadauria Thakurs. After a blood shed, many families lost a number of male members. Remaining 4 sikroria families migrated from that place. During that conflict, a young men of sikrorias, who was married just few days back was also killed with fighting bravely. His newly wed wife decided to SATI with the body of her husband. In the memory of that lady there is Temple of SATI. It has great Manyata and an yealy MELA is celeberated at this temple. Every person even dacoits are having special SHARDHA for her.
